The Schiffswerft Barth GmbH is strategically located in the German Baltic Sea on the southern shore of the Barther Bodden in the more than 750-year-old port city of Barth .

Coming from the Baltic Sea into the fairway of the city port of Barth, you keep starboard after the pier and reach SWB's own port area, which is very well protected from waves and wind, within a few minutes.

In addition to its small airport, Barth also offers a direct connection to the public transport network of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. Thus, in addition to the journey by car/truck via the A20 or the B105, there are also other sustainable arrival and departure options.

With several overnight accommodations (hotels or guesthouses) within walking distance of the shipyard site, as well as various restaurants, bars, museums, cafés and other cultural opportunities, a stay during a shipyard layover would be entertaining.
